On April 9th, President Biden signed an executive order to establish a commission to study the U.S. Supreme Court. The commission’s stated goal is to review how the court operates, its role in government, and consider “reform” proposals.

In the order, President Biden requires that the commission “seek public comment to ensure that the work of the commission is informed by a broad spectrum of ideas.”
