A coalition of progressive groups says it will spend $10 million to convince Americans that the Senate needs to “reform” the Supreme Court and end the filibuster.
Over the last several years, some politicians, candidates and activist groups have tossed around the idea of “reforming” the Senate filibuster. But it’s clear what the real intent is: bulldoze a key Senate procedure, so they can quickly push through a radical agenda without having to compromise with the minority party. In other words, it’s another brazen attempt to grab more political power.
